Ozone Day Celebration (16th September to 23rd September 2015)

The World Ozone day was celebrated by Centre for Environmental Law at Institute of Law, Nirma University in order to spread awareness regarding the problems that are posed to the ozone layer – a very crucial element of environment that protects our mother earth from degrading consequences. The program was conducted in collaboration with ‘Paryavaran Mitra’, a popular NGO working in conservation of environment and Regional office of the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB).  There were a wide range of events organised in this period including face painting, poster making, T-shirt painting, essay writing and slogan writing for the students as well as faculty and staff members. The event remained successful by great number of participation.

The concluding ceremony of the celebration of Ozone week was organised on September 23, 2015 in room no 007 at Institute of Law, Nirma University. Dr. Madhuri Parikh, Centre Head, Centre For Environmental Law, presented report of the activities of the Centre carried out during the celebration of Ozone week- i.e. from 16th September to 23rd September 2015. Prof. Anand Shinde, Asst. Professor, ILNU contributed to this celebration by declaring to take e-copy submission of the projects and saving more than 5000 paper printing.
